Village Board Meeting Rescheduled Due to Snow

The meeting of the Board of Trustees is rescheduled for Wednesday at noon.

Village Board Meeting Rescheduled Due to Snow
A Northport Village Board of Truestees meeting scheduled for Tuesday at 6 p.m. is canceled due to weather conditions.

The meeting, which will outline the 2014-15 Village budget, is rescheduled for Wednesday at noon.

The National Weather Service announced Tuesday morning that Winter Storm Warning is currently in effect. Up to 14 inches of snow are expected in some areas, as well as arctic cold temperatures across the region.

Flurries began Tuesday morning around Long Island, with snow expected to gain intensity over the day, and the heaviest blast expected between 1 and 8 p.m. Heavy, blowing snow and high winds will mean dangerous road conditions Tuesday night, with low visibility.
