Car Fire on the Crossining

Croton Fire officials report a car fire on the southbound Croton River Bridge snarled traffic Thursday morning.

Firefighters were called out at 7:42 AM. No injuries were reported by the driver or firefighters. Route 9 was reopened to all traffic 40 minutes later.
