Cops Release Video of Suspected South Slope Sex Attacker

The NYPD is asking for the public’s assistance in finding the suspect from the 16th Street sexual assault.

Police released a video of the suspected attacker from .

According to cops, at about 5:05 a.m., a Hispanic man in his 40s approached a woman from behind while she was walking on 16th Street, sexually abused her and fled the scene.

The 22-year-old victim refused medical attention following the attack, according to police.

The NYPD said that the suspect weighs around 140 pounds, stands approximately 5-foot-4 and was wearing a red baseball cap, camouflage pants and carrying a shoulder bag.

The video attached was taken from area surveillance cameras and shows the suspect walking before the attack.

It is not known if the suspect is believed to be connected to .
