Col. Josiah Smith Chapter Installs New Officers for 2016 - 2019

Three new members join; more prospective members welcome!

The Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter NSDAR is proud to announce its new officers for 2016 - 2019. Pictured left to right are Outgoing Regent Nancy Wierzbowski; Laura Miller, Treasurer; Mary Dykman, Vice Regent; Joan Nathan, Regent; Suzanne Griffing, Historian/Librarian; Anne Laube, Chaplain; and Sarah Zamorski, Secretary. Not pictured is Dale Jacobi, Registrar. The officers were elected unanimously at a chapter meeting on May 14th, 2016, at Ms. Wierzbowski’s beautiful Bellport Village home. The chapter also had the pleasure of installing three new members that day: Lauren Barlow, Julia Barlow and Sarah Barlow-Sinclair. We actively seek ladies who would like to join our DAR family.

Founded in Patchogue in 1920, the Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter NSDAR is dedicated to volunteer service, educational enhancement and historic preservation. Interested parties are invited to visit the chapter’s website for more information.
