The Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, has had the pleasure of welcoming several new members since resuming monthly meetings in March 2015. At our March 14th meeting at Bayport-Blue Point Library, member Joan Nathan’s daughter Heidi Barry was installed and a long-term prospective member, Heidi’s beautiful daughter Coco, was also welcomed. DAR is a multi-generational organization that grandmothers, mothers and daughters can enjoy together! The chapter actively seeks ladies who would like to join our DAR family.

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, founded in 1890 and headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a non-profit, non-political volunteer women’s service organization dedicated to promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America’s future through education. For information about joining Colonel Josiah Smith Chapter NSDAR, please visit ColonelJosiahSmithChapterNSDAR.org or see the chapter’s page on Facebook.
