Legal Action Filed Against New Village Project (Poll)

New legal action was filed against Patchogue Village regarding Tritec Real Estate Company's  at the Four Corners.

Patch is currently reaching out to get more information and will update soon with more details.

In a phone call with attorney Kevin Brosnahan Monday, who is representing the plaintiffs, he told Patch that the basis of the action is regarding Patchogue Village renewing Tritec's site plan just over a month after the one-year anniversary it was . He said that Village code dictates that the plan should have been renewed at the March 12 meeting, but the Village board chose to table the renewal to April 23.

Should it be the case that the April renewal is invalid, Brosnahan also said that the Village may then also have to revert the zoning of the land due to not having an approved site plan within three-years of the original zoning approval, as dictated by Village code. Brosnahan cited that May 12, 2009 was the date of the original zoning approval.
