Not Guilty Plea in Fatal Medford Stabbing

A Coram man pleaded not guilty to second degree murder Tuesday stemming from a fatal in Medford last week.

Police say Darrell Scott, 25, stabbed 32-year-old Chauncey Scott, also of Coram and of no relation to the defendant, during a fight on the corner of Baldwin Lane and Pinegrove Avenue in Medford on Aug. 7.

In a Riverhead court Tuesday, judge Stephen Braslow ordered Darrell Scott held without bail.
