Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Suffolk County Police Hate Crimes Unit detectives are seeking the public’s help to identify and locate the people responsible for assaulting a man outside of an entertainment venue in Patchogue. 

On Jan. 11 at approximately 1:05 a.m., outside of The Emporium, located at 9 Railroad Ave., a man was assaulted by three men.  The suspects pictured above exited The Emporium just prior to the assault, police said. 

"The suspects made verbal remarks about the victim’s perceived sexual orientation," police said regarding why the Hate Crimes Unit was investigating the case. 

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers offers a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential.
