Elizabeth Chase, 93, a longtime Peekskill resident, passed away on December 27, 2014. Born on December 25, 1921 in White Plains, NY, daughter of the late John & Amy (nee Reynolds) DuBois.
On October 11, 1939 at the St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Peekskill, she married Norman W. Chase, who predeceased her on June 22, 1984.
Mrs. Chase enjoyed playing classical music, and also gave private piano lessons.

Elizabeth is survived by her son and 2 daughters: Norman W. (Karen) Chase, Jr., Nancy (Gene) Merrow and Lorraine Chase; and also her 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was also predeceased by her brother, John DuBois.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a Funeral Service will be held 10am, Saturday, January 3rd followed by interment in the Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
