Woman Robbed on Route 202
State police said the victim was walking home from the Beech Shopping Center at 11:30PM.

At about 11:30 p.m. last night, the New York State Police were dispatched to a reported robbery on Route 202 in front of the Peekskill Animal Hospital.
The victim told police that she was walking home from the Beech Shopping Center when she was approached by a man who forcibly took her belongings. He then fled toward Peekskill, she said.
The assailant is described as a dark-skinned black male, approximately 6 feet tall, with a medium build, and a gold tooth. He was reportedly wearing a dark colored, possibly dark orange sweatshirt with black sweatpants or dark colored jeans. The suspect may also have been wearing a black knit cap.
