CT Man Charged with DWI on North Main Street in Port Chester

A Connecticut man stopped for driving erratically on North Main Street in Port Chester has been charged with driving while intoxicated, according to Port Chester Police.

Jorge Pardo-Ceva, 29, 10 Middlebury St., Stamford, CT, was pulled over at 1:41 a.m. Monday by a village police officer. Police said the silver Volkswagen driven by Pardo-Ceva was spotted crossing double-yellow pavement markings and the driver additionally got a police officer's attention by blaring the car's horn for two blocks while going through downtown.

Police said Pardo-Ceva was found to be intoxicated and he was charged with driving while intoxicated. He was also cited for aggravated driving while intoxicated, police said, because Pardo-Ceva had more than twice the legal limit of alcohol in his system.

Additionally, police said they found that his driver's license had been suspended by the state Department of Motor Vehicles in connection with a request by the City of New Rochelle.

Pardo-Ceva faces a hearing in Port Chester Village Court.
