Luis Rodrigues Lopez, 21, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Grove Street in Port Jefferson Station on May 14 at about 11:20 a.m. and charged with operating a motor vehicle impaired by drugs. According to Suffolk County Police, Rodrigues Lopez was in the drivers’ seat of an idled 2003 Saturn when he was found to be under the influence of drugs.

William Velez, 34, of Coram, was arrested in the Port Jefferson Long Island Rail Road parking lot on May 15 at about 2:30 p.m. and charged with criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree and resisting arrest. According to police, Velez had stolen someone’s Blackberry. Police said he pulled away and struggled when they were attempting to place him into custody.

Susan Hinchy, 47, of Miller Place, was arrested in Belle Terre on May 15 and charged with DWI. Police said she was driving a 2003 Hyundai on Saints Orchid Road at about 10:30 p.m. when the incident occurred.

Kimberley Arza, 43, of Mt. Sinai, was arrested May 15 in Setauket and charged with DWI. Police say Arza intoxicated after she crossed over the double yellow line and crashed into another vehicle on Main Street in Setauket at 10:30 p.m.

Kristy Hoffman, 25, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested in Coram on May 18 and charged with DWI. According to police, Hoffman was driving a 2010 Chevrolet southbound on Wedgewood Dr. around 2:15 a.m., when she hit a parked 2002 BMW. She was later charged with DWI.

Jeffrey Moritz Jr., 31, of Rocky Point, was arrested in Mount Sinai on May 18 at about 1:20 a.m. and charged with DWI. Police said Moritz was driving eastbound on Route 25, at Echo Avenue in Mt. Sinai, when he was pulled over for speeding and later charged with DWI.
