The event kicks of at Schreiber High School with the Hall of Fame breakfast, honoring former high school athletes.

The parade begins at 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Bellview Avenue, ending at Campus Drive on Port Washington Boulevard. The parade will feature community and school spirit, with this year’s Grand Marshal being Leo Cimini, president of Sandminers Monument.

The day features a senior citizen’s lunch, and also a family-fun carnival, which last year drew more there more than 3,000 people, according to the Port Washington Public School district.

At 1:30 p.m., Port Washington takes on St. Dominic High School in football at Schreiber. The halftime show will feature the Portettes, marching band, the newly inducted Hall of Fame athletes, and the crowning of this year's homecoming king and queen.

At 7 p.m. is the scholarship dinner dance at the Polish American Hall, making the day all about community.
