Question Of The Day: Voting Today?

The Republican Primary is Tuesday.

Question Of The Day: Voting Today?

Voters in New York are heading to the polls Tuesday to determine winners in Congressional primaries. The only contested race in the Port Washington area is the statewide Republican primary to determine a challenger for the seat currently held by Democrat Kirsten Gillebrand. There are three candidates in the race, lawyer, Wendy Long, Nassau Comptroller George Maragos and Rep. Robert Turner, who won the Congressional seat in Queens and Brooklyn in a special election after Democrat Anthony Weiner resigned. The district is being eliminated as a result of the 2010 census. Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. in New York.
