Voting Progressing at Port Washington Polling Places

Port Washington voters continue to head to their assigned polling places, with some reporting there was no power at United Methodist Church.

Readers said there were no lines and experienced short waits through the afternoon at Sousa Elementary School, Flower Hill Hose Company No. 1 and other polling locations. Still, some indiviudals reported assorted issues, including a lack of pens for marking ballots, and an inoperative scanner that required the ballot to be put into a slot so it could be scanned at a later time when the machine was operational. And some voting at United Methodist Church did report chilly temperatures within the building.
