Dramatic Video Shows Car Fire In Fresh Meadows

FRESH MEADOWS, QUEENS — A car caught on fire in Fresh MeadowsThursday morning, video shows.

The Fire Department got a call about the blaze at 192nd Street and 67th Avenue at 7:31 a.m., an FDNY official said.

Video from the Citizen app shows a car engulfed in flames on the block, next to a line of other parked cars.

Just before 8 a.m., the FDNY and emergency medical services were still at the intersection, the FDNY said. There were no injuries reported.

The bulk of the fire had been knocked down by about 8 a.m.
