Riverhead High School To Host Girls' Health, Wellness And Empowerment Conference On Saturday
The event will focus on motivating and empowering young women in high school.

The Girls’ Health, Wellness & Empowerment Conference will be held on Saturday, Nov. 15, at Riverhead High School on 700 Harrison Avenue in Riverhead from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.
The conference will focus on motivating and empowering young women in high school to strengthen control of their health, fitness and overall well-being, while becoming aware of how they present themselves publicly. The goal of the conference is to encourage the young women to strive towards a better tomorrow and become strong leaders, employees, or entrepreneurs, who are developing skills to help build a strong future.
“I want young people to be able to create a vision for themselves based on positive energy and having a future, so that they can overcome any obstacle that life throws their way. This Conference will give them a step in that direction” said Maria Spera, Conference Co-Creator.
