Why go: The Irvington Town Hall Theater is beginning its "Best of" film series season with a film highlighting the stories of some of the backup singers who worked alongside the biggest musical sensations of the century, including Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Winder, Mick Jagger, Sheryl Crow, Sting and more. The film is 91-minutes-long and is rated PG-13. There will also be a champagne toast to mark the unveiling of the Theater's new skylight and an after party with free hors d'oeuvres (and a cash bar) at the Red Hat. Raffle tickets are available.
