Group Selected to Take Over Former Pets Alive No-Kill Shelter
The Elmsford facility first will be turned over to the Town of Greenburgh.

Westchester-based Paws Crossed Animal Rescue Inc. has been selected as the group to take over the former Pets Alive no-kill animal shelter in Elmsford, according to Town of Greenburgh officials.
The transfer could happen before the end of January or in early February, says Greenburgh Town Supervisor Paul Feiner. First, Pets Alive will turn over the building to the town.
Located at 100 Warehouse Road South in Elmsford, the building is in need of repairs and upgrades and has been closed since September.

“They seem passionate about their pets, organized and have a great plan of action that will enable pets to be rescued and adopted by caring residents,” said Feiner in a statement about Paws Crossed.
