“We raised $716, which was matched by a Main Street School family,” said Principal Joyce Chapnick, “and we’ll be sending The Malala Fund a check for $1,432.”

After the screening, there was a discussion on the issues raised in the film led by Women’s Refugee Commission Executive Director Dr. Sarah Costa.

The Malala Fund’s mission is to enable girls to complete 12 years of safe, quality education so they can achieve their potential.
