Several Irvington residents are organizing an effort to educate their neighbors about the size and scope of the assisted living facility proposed for 30 S. Broadway.

Not only have they launched a website,  http://www.ProtectIrvingtonNY.org — they are starting what member Barry Graubart called "an aggressive outreach effort with a particular emphasis on educating registered voters prior to the March 20 Trustee election."

When asked at last week's candidates' forum, the three men running for two seats on the Board of Trustees [Republican incumbents Walter Montgomery and Rocco (Rick) Rasulo and Democrat Mark Gilliland] did not express differences of opinion on the project.

, the company proposing is seeking approval from the planning board.
