Riefenhauser Earns Honors

We thank a Dobbs Ferry supporter for sending this in:

Ryan Riefenhauser, a former Dobbs Ferry varsity basketball player (DHS '09) who is a college student at SUNY Geneseo, was named to the SUNYAC All Tournament Team for mens SUNYAC Basketball Finals AND was named to the SUNYAC All Conference Mens Basketball Team (second team).

He is presently a junior studying communications at Geneseo.

Track and Field:

At home in a non-scoring meet, Nora Howe (H '10) of Haverford finished 17th in the women's mile run, with her time of 6:00.94.

At the MAAC Indoor Championship on the 17th, Sarah Moore (IRV. '10) of Manhattan finished tied for 2nd place in the Pole Vault, with a height of 10-11.75, while she was 8th in the Triple Jump, at 3406.75. The Jaspers finished 2nd on the day, with 126.25 points.

Tennis:

At Northwestern Bible on the 18th, the St. Olaf men's tennis squad topped their opponents, 8-1. as Andy Catania (DF '09) won his singles match, 6-1, 6-2, after which his doubles two some also took their contest, 9-7.

County Center Tidbits

The semifinals and finals of the Section 1 boys basketball tournament are being held at the Westchester County Center in White Plains this week.
