Cyberbullying Hotline Proposed for Westchester County

Callers could use the toll-free line anonymously.

Two Westchester County legislators have proposed creating a toll-free cyberbullying hotline.

Legislators Ken Jenkins, D-Yonkers, and Alfreda Williams, D-Greenburgh, have co-sponsored the bill that would focus on prevention rather than penalties, according to lohud.com.

Complaints could be submitted anonymously and would be sent to local law enforcement as well as the county’s Human Rights Commission, lohud.com said.
