Tractor-Trailer Fire Ties Up Traffic on I-95 Early Wednesday
Vehicles were backed up as far as Greenwich, CT.

RYE, NY — Traffic was snarled on Interstate 95 through Wednesday morning’s commute due to a tractor-trailer that caught fire on the southbound lanes.
Lohud reported that the truck was near Exit 19 shortly before 5 a.m. when it caught fire, with traffic backing up as far as Greenwich, CT before all lanes reopened about 8:15 a.m.
Eyewitness News said the truck was carrying chickens and flipped over before catching fire.
