North's team will now focus on the Section XI New York State Qualifier meet, which takes place next month. Young said the team is hoping to place its relays in the meet.

East's coach Dan Schaub said he was happy that the girls brought Tuesday's energy to the meet.

"It was an outstanding performance," he said. "When you look at [scores of] 128 [Bayshore], 115 [Northport] and 110.6, how can you be disappointed?"

East will also focus on training for next month's State Qualifier.
