Firefighters Knock Down Car Fire Outside Farmingville McDonald's

A car went up in flames in front of a McDonald's in Farmingville early Thursday morning.

The Farmingville Fire Department was alerted to the fire on North Ocean Avenue, just north of the Long Island Expressway, and upon arrival, first responders were met with heavy fire showing from the engine compartment of the car.

Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire and no injuries reported.
