While there isn't too much business news to report this week, the reports that have come in are positive. Here's a look at what's happened lately:

Ticketmaster Comes to Smith Haven Mall: Thanks to a recent extension of the relationship between Simon Property Group, Inc. and the Live Nation Entertainment company Ticketmaster, the Smith Haven Mall in Lake Grove will now be home to a Ticketmaster purchasing location, according to PR Newswire. The agreement resulted in an additional 22 purchasing locations being introduced to Simon malls, for a total of 72 Simon malls including a Ticketmaster location nationwide. Tickets can be purchased at the Guest Services desk from a Simon associate, which are printed on location and on traditional ticket stock.

VAI Sponsors ROFDA Conference, Finds Success With S2K Enterprise Software: According to Marketwire, ERP software provider Vormittag Associates, Inc. (VAI) will sponsor the Retailer Owned Food Distributors & Associates (ROFDA) Fall 2011 Conference, to be held November 12-15 at the Hyatt Regency Hill Country in San Antonio, TX. ROFDA, a trade association consisting of of retailer-owned food distributors and firms, will provide networking opportunities with notable industry experts, general information sessions and presentations on a range of topics at this month's conference. 

Also this week, VAI has announced that Canadian distributor of agriculture, automotive and industrial products, Dynaline Industries Inc., has upgraded its software to VAI's S2K Enterprise 5.0. Dynaline decided on the upgrade as a result of the software's ability to adapt to the ever-changing industry and support the company's growth, and has announced that it will be working specifically with VAI's S2K Financial and S2K Distribution Management. Dynaline has been working with VAI for 5 years, and also plans to consider VAI's S2K Sales Force and Warehouse Management in the future.

Mark Ghobril Finds Success with Growing Numis Network: Ronkonkoma resident Mark Ghobril, a 4-Star Manager and representative of the graded gold and silver coins marketer Numis Network, plans to give back to the community later this month. Ghobril will exhibit his extensive collection from November 25-27 at the UCPN Long Island Festival of Trees, in partnership with the Cradle of Aviation. A percentage of Ghobril's sales will be donated to charity. Numis Network recently gained 11.78% according to Multi-level Marketers, who also ranks the company at 152 out of 666 of the home businesses they track. Ghobril has approximately 145 associates nationwide.
