Community Ambulance Sets Up Charging, Power Posts for Residents

Today and Friday the Community Ambulance Company will have a marked pick up truck parked with a generator and a power strip for anyone in the community that needs to charge phones, ipads or small medical equipment at no cost.

According to a release issued this morning, the company staff reserve the right to turn away any device that is larger then the generators capacity or deny services. Depending on the usage the company will look to expand the days of this program.

"As a community organization we understand the importance of communicating with loved ones and we are here to assist in this time of need by providing a power charging station to those affected by hurricane Sandy," states the release.
