Sayville Fire Spreads To Neighboring Yards, Destroys Garage: PD
Multiple properties were damaged on Sunday night, after a fire broke out at a West Sayville residence, Suffolk Count police said.

WEST SAYVILLE, NY — Multiple properties were damaged on Sunday night, after a fire broke out at a West Sayville residence, Suffolk Count police said.
According to officials, the West Sayville Fire Department responded to a 911 call at about 9:50 p.m., and arrived at a residence on Joni Drive. The fire engulfed a detached garage, shed, boat, trailer and motorcycle, but not the actual house, officials said.

Police said that the fire spread to another property on Joni Drive and damaged a detached garage. It also caused damage in two yards on Carley Drive, police said.

With the assistance of the Bohemia Fire Department, Sayville Fire Department, Bayport Fire Department, Community Ambulance Company, and East Islip Fire Department, the fire was brought under control in about an hour.
No one was injured, police said, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
