Greenburgh Honors Black History With Dance

The town of Greenburgh is honoring Black History Month with a master dance class next week.

Rossi Turner, a choreographer, dancer and humanitarian, will be teaching the master class on Thursday, February 28, from 6:30 p.m. - 7:45 p.m. The event, being held at the Theodore D. Young Community Center, is free and open to the public.

Participants will celebrate Black History Month through dance and movement. Both children and adults are welcome to attend the class, according to the town's announcement.

Folks should wear comfortable clothing and do not need to be trained dancers to take part–all ages and experience levels can participate.

Also, light refreshments will be served at the event.

For more information, contact Norma Jean Barnes, the Activities and Arts Coordinator at the Theodore D. Young Community Center by email at njbarnes@greenburghny.com or call 914.989.3617.
