The second annual , sponsored by the Scarsdale Public Library's Teen Advisory Board, will be held on May 11 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Scarsdale High School.

Last year the Teen Writers Conference was a huge success with 15 instructors and over 90 students participating. Authors taught classes with a focus on creating plots and characters, learning about the making of novels, writing pieces of comedy, writing reviews and pitching ideas to editors.

This year, the Teen Writer's Conference will offer a variety of new classes and authors, as well as returning classes that were popular last year.

Registration is now open. Interested students can complete registration forms located in the , Scarsdale High School Library, Scarsdale Middle School Library, or by viewing the class options at Scarsdalelibrary.org and emailing class choices to  scarsdalelibraryteens@gmail.com.
