NYC Swing Dance Instructor Spencer Weisbond will teach a six-week Swing Dance Class for adults with some basic experience. The classes will run on Tuesday evenings, from October 16 through November 20, from 7:30 to 8:45 p.m., at the JCC of Mid-Westchester’s Dance School in Scarsdale.

This will be a fun and sophisticated class for adults to practice "East Coast" Swing footwork and patterns, and the techniques to execute the Jitterbug and Lindy Hop confidently.

Weisbond has studied swing dance extensively with four-time world champion and eight-time American champion Nathalie Gomes. He is trained in the Lindy Hop and Jitterbug swing dances. He teaches in NYC at the JCC in Manhattan, the YMCA, and at a local dance studio. He also organizes the NYC Swing Dancing Meet-up Group.

Single class fee is $25; or register for the 6-class series at a discount for $102 at JCC Front Desk.  The JCC Dance School provides all levels of training by professional faculty for pre-school, teen and adult dancers. Other classes include Argentine tango, ballet, pointe, jazz/hip-hop, tap, Zumba and Israeli folk.    For information, contact Jayne Santoro, Director, JCC Dance School: (914) 472-3300, x320.
