Did You See the First Snowfall of the Year?

While only a few flakes hit the ground and the rain immediately washed them away, the first official snowfall for the year hit Saturday.

How rare is this October snowfall for the northeast? HuffPo reported that a record was set at Central Park in New York City for not only the Oct. 29 date in history but for the month with 1.3 inches of snow on the ground.

According to weather.com, more early-morning snow is predicted for Sunday, but should clear up before 9 a.m. and give way to wind and afternoon sun.

Where were you for the first snowfall of the year? Are you excited for an early snowfall or disappointed and wish the snow would come later in the year?
