Police ID Man Found Dead In Long Island Pool
He was found unresponsive in a backyard pool last week.
UPDATE: Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives have identified the man as 20-year-old Dominique Bethune, of Mastic, police announced Monday night.
NESCONSET, NY – A man was found dead in a Long Island swimming pool Friday afternoon. Suffolk Police say an unidentified man was found unresponsive in a pool at 28 Chivalry Lane in Nesconset at 3:07 p.m.
The body was recovered by Marine Bureau officers and transported to the Office of the Suffolk County Medical Examiner where an autopsy will be performed to determine the cause of death.

The investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information to contact the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
