Man's Body Found In Water Off Suffolk Shore
The 56-year-old man's death is believed to be non-criminal, Suffolk police say.
ST. JAMES, NY — The body of a 56-year-old Nesconset man was found in the water at Long Beach Town Park in St. James Wednesday afternoon, Suffolk police said. Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives responded to Long Beach Road around 4:10 p.m.
"[The man] appeared to have a medical event while fishing and the death is believed to be non-criminal," police told Patch.
Police did not give the man's identity.
