Driver Crashed Into SoHo Museum, Fled N.J. Police: NYPD
Police are searching for a man who drove in a stolen BMW and crashed into a vehicle and a museum in SoHo Tuesday morning.

SOHO, NY — Police are searching for a man who allegedly led New Jersey State Police on a stolen-car chase, sped through the Holland Tunnel, crashed into another vehicle and a museum in SoHo and fled the scene early Tuesday morning, multiple media outlets report.
The man was driving a BMW X5 allegedly stolen in Morris County, N.J. Police troopers followed the man to the entrance of the Holland Tunnel before they called off the chase shortly before 2 a.m., DNAinfo reports.
The BMW exited the Holland Tunnel at around 2 a.m. and made his way up to SoHo, where he crashed into a 28-year-old male driving a white Corvette near Broome and Greene streets.

The BMW then crashed into the front of an art museum near 470 Broome St. The suspect then broke the windshield of the completely mutilated BMW and fled the area after the crash.

The man was last seen running westbound on Broome Street towards Wooster Street, according to NBC. Police are assembling a task force to search for the driver, who police believe is injured.

The driver of the Corvette was taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries.
