Create the New Order of Your Life: Jennifer Ryan will discuss how to organize your life for the new year at the Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton at 5:30 p.m.
Water Mill Citizens Advisory Committee: The Water Mill CAC will meet at the Water Mill Community House at 7 p.m.
Blood Drive: A blood drive will be held at the Southampton Fire Department on Hampton Road and Narrow Lane from noon to 7:15 p.m. Complimentary hot chowder will be available, donated by Schmidt’s.
Town Board Meeting: The Southampton Town Board will meet at Town Hall at 1 p.m.
French Conversation with Cecile: At Hampton Library in Bridgehampton, instructor Cecile Graffin-Smith will teach a conversational French class return, starting Jan. 14 at 4 p.m. Price: $75 for eight sessions.
Hypnosis for Smoking Cessation: Albert R. O’Connell, a certified hypnotist, offers a one-time program at The Ed & Phyllis Davis Wellness Institute at 6 p.m. Price: $75 (CD included) and participants can follow up with one free refresher course.
Documentary and Intro to Transcendental Meditation: Five years ago, a team of filmmakers followed David Lynch on a 16-country tour documenting a series of lectures and intimate interviews on his creative process and his relationship with Transcendental Meditation. The resulting footage has been compiled into a 71-minute documentary "Meditation, Creativity, Peace." The Hampton Library and the Transcendental Meditation Program present this program. There will be time for a Q & A with Cathy Rowe who lives in Sag Harbor and is a Certified TM Instructor. Program begins at 7 p.m.

Celebrate Hamptons Wellness Week at Fresh Hamptons: Fresh Hamptons in Bridgehampton is taking part in Hamptons Wellness Week on Jan. 17 from 4 to 5:30 p.m. with a fun family celebration. Children of all ages will prepare their own pizza with Chef Todd Jacobs and make a pair of cloth wings to wear with Anastasia Gavalas, founder of the
Wing It Project. Admission is free, but donations to help support the Wing It Project will be accepted. Limited reservations are available and can be made by emailing
email@example.com or calling 516-523-1504. Following the family celebration, adults may enjoy a meet and greet cocktail party from 6 to 8 p.m. Guests will taste local, healthy eats by Fresh Hamptons and clink a glass to the first annual event. There will also be a raffle benefitting the Wing It Project. Admission costs $15 and is free for all Wellness Week participants and sponsors.
Mobile Spay/Neuter Van at SYS: The Southampton Town Animal Shelter low cost spay/neuter Mobile Clinic with be at SYS in North Sea, starting at 7 a.m. Vaccination services will be offered, too. Make an appointment.
CMEE PLAY: The Children's Museum of the East End in Bridgehampton will hold a frozen paper workshop where kids can witness the astonishing results as they experiment with a variety of paints and frozen paper surfaces, starting at 10:30 a.m. All CMEE PLAY workshops are ideal for children ages 2-6 years and adult assistance is required. Price: Members $7, Non-Members $18 (includes admission).
Jewelry Workshops: Make an ice necklace at the Hampton Library during this workshop at 3 p.m.
Open Auditions for "August: Osage County": Center Stage at Southampton Cultural Center will hold open auditions for Tracy Letts', "August: Osage County." Readings from the script will occur. Michael Disher directs. Performances will begin on March 20 and run through April 6.
Prentiss Dunn Musical Lectures: Prentiss Dunn Musical Lectures will be held on Jan. 19, Jan. 26, and Feb. 2, 9, and 16, at 2 p.m.
