Drunk Driver Crashes Into Utility Pole: Police

No injuries were reported in the accident, police said.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Southampton Town Police busted a drunk driver who crashed her car into a utility pole this week, police said.

According to police, Sasckya Slothtower, 31, of New York, NY, was arrested on Monday at 1:24 a.m. on Springville Road in Hampton Bays.

Slothower was involved in a one car accident and hit a utility pole, police said.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Police arrived and an investigation revealed that Slothtower was driving while intoxicated; she was arrested, charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, failing to maintain lane, a violation, and refusing to submit to a breath test, a violation, police said.

Slothower was transported to Southampton Town Police headquarters for processing and held for arraignment, police said.
