The Southampton Hospital Thrift Store moved out of its Main Street location in 2008 for a , and the original building, owned by , is still on the market.

At the time that the thrift store moved, hospital officials said the store nets about $100,000 a year for the hospital while the building was estimated to be worth around $5 million, so it made more sense to sell it off than to stay put.

The 2-and-a-half story building is listed for $4.7 million with . It is described as "approximately 4,700 square feet with additional space on the third-level for living quarters." It is zoned Village Business and Health Department sewage regulations prevent the entire building from being used for residential purposes.
