VIDEO: Feeding Birds by Hand at Morton Wildlife Refuge

Chickadees feed on sunflower seeds out of a person's hand, in Noyac.

The Elizabeth A. Morton National Wildlife Refuge in Noyac is home to many species of bird, including black-capped chickadees, songbirds that are known for their boldness around humans. In fact, they are so comfortable with humans that they will eat seed right out of a hiker's palm. YouTube user LINeighborhoods shared a video Sunday of chickadees at the 187-acre refuge doing just that.
