Village Police Log: Trio Arrested on Drug Charges

Trio Arrested on Drug Charges
Two women and a man from Nassau County were arrested Sunday at 12:28 a.m. on an array of drug-related charges.
Michelle Sol Chung, 20, of Massapequa, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. Police said they found Chung with cocaine.
Police also allege that Joseph E. Smith, 20, of Floral Park, had cocaine. Smith was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.
• Giovanni M. Capogna, 19, of Ronkonkoma, was arrested May 21 at 12:25 a.m. and charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of marijuana, a violation. He was processed and released after posting $300 bail.
Obstructing Governmental Administration
• Lizandro Lopez, 30, of Southampton, was arrested May 26 at 7:09 p.m. and charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration, a misdemeanor. Police said Lopez repeatedly called 911 with no emergency while intoxicated.
Driving While Intoxicated
• Abigail S. Kane, 29, of Greenwich, Conn., was arrested May 27 at 2:05 a.m. and charged with DWI, a misdemeanor. Police said they stopped Kane for multiple vehicle and traffic violations while she was driving a 2012 Mercedes Benz North Main Street. She was taken into custody and held for morning arraignment, according to police.
