Overturned Tractor-Trailer Shuts Down Part of I-87 Saturday
The accident is still under investigation.
WOODBURY, NY — State Police are investigating an overturned tractor-trailer accident Saturday on I-87 southbound just before Exit 16 for Harriman.
Authorities said all southbound lanes are blocked between Exit 17 (Newburgh) and Exit 16 until further notice.
The accident happened around 6:52 a.m. Saturday.

Police said all traffic is being held from entering at Exit 17 and all northbound traffic is being diverted at Exit 16, pending the removal of the tractor-trailer.
The accident is still under investigation, and police said they will release more information when it becomes available.
