Police Ask for Public's Help to Find Man Who Exposed Himself to Teens

Suffolk Police have released a sketch of a man they say exposed himself to a group of teens in East Setauket earlier this week. 

According to police, around 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, an adult male in a vehicle, described as a four-door station wagon, exposed himself to the teens who were walking past the vehicle near Setauket Elementary School on Main Street.

Rubble. All that remains is rubble.

Crews on Thursday razed the former Body Talk Lounge in Centereach, a demolition celebrated by local politicians as yet another step to remove local eyesores in the local communities.

The building, which used to be a strip club, had sustained significant damage from a fire earlier this year and town officials said it had become a dangerous target of graffiti.

Port Jeff Brew Now on Tap at Whole Foods Markets

Port Jeff Brewery will be part of the local line up of microbrews being offered at Whole Foods Markets.

The local artisans announced on their website Wednesday that they had sealed the deal, accompanied by a picture of a Port Jeff Brewery truck in front of the Lake Grove Whole Foods.

Minnesauke Students Take Part in Scarecrow Competition

The infamous characters from “The Wizard of Oz” recently took shape in the sixth-grade classrooms at Minnesauke Elementary School when the grade level completed designs for this year’s Stony Brook Scarecrow Competition.

With the help of their teachers and parent volunteers, the students conceptualized their projects and worked collaboratively to make their ideas come together.
