Smithtown Radio reports official snowfall totals.

Weekend Snowfall Totaled More Than 4 Inches Locally

East Setauket received 4.5 inches of snow on Saturday and Stony Brook got 4.4 inches, according to a Smithtown Radio report.

Nearby Port Jefferson and St. James each got 4.7 inches of snow, while on the East End, Orient got the most snowfall in Suffolk County at 7.2 inches of snow.

That being said, how did you fare in the snow?

"I didn't enjoy it so much, but my kids did," said Tim Rathburn, who took them sledding at the field at Setauket Elementary.

Lily Zajc was among several readers who also said they loathed it.

"I firmly believe you either have to be a kid or a dog to enjoy the snow," she wrote via the Three Village Patch Facebook page.

Bill Zezelic added: "I can tell you Hell is NOT a warm place. It's ice cold."

From Sue Braun Sugar: "Planning a trip to take my mind off of it."
