Woman Groped at Upper East Side Polling Site: Police

A woman told police she was groped by a man wearing hospital scrubs while she was waiting to vote Tuesday.

UPPER EAST SIDE, NY — A woman told police that she was groped while waiting in line to vote at a polling site on the Upper East Side.

The woman was in the voting line inside PS 183 around 11:30 a.m. when a man wearing hospital scrubs approached her from behind and grabbed her lower back and butt, the Daily News reported. The man, who was wearing hospital scrubs, was apparently also waiting to vote at the polling site on East 66th Street near First Avenue, according to the report.

The woman reported the incident to the police, who have not yet made an arrest, the Daily News reported.
