Area Visit by President Obama to Affect Westchester County Airport in White Plains
The airport is within a 10-mile no fly zone around JFK, according to officials which is prompting the partial shutdown.

Even though President Barack Obama will arrive and depart from JFK Airport in New York Tuesday, his itinerary temporarily will affect chartered flights in and out of Westchester County Airport, according to a report in the Poughkeepsie Journal.
For four hours between 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., no chartered flights will be allowed in or out of the county’s airport, but commercial flights will continue to operate.
The airport is within a 10-mile no fly zone around JFK, according to officials which is prompting the partial shutdown.

The president will be in New York City and Greenwich, Conn. for fundraising events. He was in the area in August for fundraisers and a wedding.
