The Perfect Keratin Treatment. No Lie!

I know everyone is all up in arms about keratin. Is it safe? What are the side effects, etc., etc.?   At my salon, Julius Michael Scarsdale, we use one of the best treatments out there. It's FDA approved safe.

Keratin is a hair treatment that is in no way a hair relaxer. Please note the difference—keratin will leave your hair silky, shiny, frizz-free, not dry, dull and broken. With keratin you have the ability to leave your hair curly or wavy with zero frizz. Or the option of blowing out your hair in less time to look fabulous in minutes—with zero frizz.

I love love love keratin treatments this time of year since I'm hair obsessed, and can't stand when my girls' curls look unruly. There is just no reason for it!

The treatment should take one to two hours at the most. It should last four to six months with proper care. You must use a sulfate-free shampoo and conditioner. The products we carry at my salon are sulfate and paraben free. It's now rumored that parabens may be worse for your hair than sulfates. Soon, we'll hear that even air is worse too!
