ColumbiaDoctors Obstetrics & Gynecology at Scarsdale is now part of NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester

Westchester County, N.Y. - (January 9, 2017) – NewYork-Presbyterian is pleased to announce that the general OB/GYN practice of ColumbiaDoctors Obstetrics & Gynecology at Scarsdale is now part of NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Westchester, a growing medical group that connects communities with award-winning healthcare, technology and research. NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Groups (NYPMG) is part of the Physician Services Division of NewYork-Presbyterian (NYP), one of the nation’s most comprehensive academic health care delivery systems, which is affiliated with two world-renowned medical schools, Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Weill Cornell Medicine. NYPMG Westchester provides services in collaboration with ColumbiaDoctors.
The OB/GYN practice offers patients comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care, from general gynecologic preventive care to prenatal and obstetrical care, including on-site ultrasound, to treatment of various gynecologic conditions. The all-female team of physicians is focused on providing individualized and comprehensive management, treatment and continuing care plans catered to their patients’ specific needs.

The physicians perform deliveries at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital (NYP Lawrence) in Bronxville, where more than 1,300 babies are delivered annually. NYP Lawrence has six labor and delivery rooms, two dedicated operating rooms, a three-bed triage unit, a three-bed recovery room, and a beautiful, state-of-the-art 23-room postpartum unit with private accommodations. The facility also has a well-baby nursery and a Level 2 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Additionally, the hospital offers 24 hour in-house coverage from board-certified neonatologists and obstetricians, who are available to respond to emergencies.
The practice is located in the Vernon Hills Shopping Center at 696 White Plains Road, Scarsdale, NY 10583 (the Lord & Taylor shopping center, parking behind Brooks Brothers). They are open Mondays through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offer late hours once a week.

Anna Burgansky, MD

Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology, CUMC
Dr. Anna Burgansky, MD, leads the NYPMG Westchester OB/GYN Scarsdale practice and serves as the Director of Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) and Chief of the Division of General OB/GYN at NYP Lawrence Hospital, and Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at CUMC. Dr. Burgansky practices general obstetrics and gynecology, with clinical interests in preventative and prenatal care, menopause and minimally invasive gynecologic surgical procedures.
Dr. Burgansky co-chairs the Departmental Quality Assurance Committee and is actively involved in the development and implementation of patient safety and quality improvements. She is an active member of The American Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists District II Safe Motherhood Initiative, where she is involved in development of guidelines and implementation of strategies aimed to reduce preventable obstetrical complications and maternal deaths in hospitals across New York State.

Nitasha Jain, MD

Dr. Nitasha Jain is a Michigan native, born and raised in Metro Detroit. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan, received her medical degree with honors from St. George’s University and completed her Obstetrics & Gynecology training in 2014 at Providence Hospital & Medical Centers in Southfield, Michigan. Dr. Jain is passionate about women’s health and offers a wide variety of services ranging from adolescence through menopause. She specializes in preventive and prenatal care, contraception, basic infertility, pregnancy, abnormal bleeding and gynecologic surgery.
Pearl J. Lim, MD

Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, CUMC
Pearl J. Lim, MD, is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at CUMC. She is an alumna of the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons and Barnard College. After practicing for 15 years serving the Korean- American community in Queens as an obstetrician and gynecologist, she has joined the General OB/GYN division of ColumbiaDoctors OB/GYN Scarsdale. Her areas of medical interest include adolescent gynecology, prenatal care, preconception counseling, and menopause. Her care often integrates nutrition and other holistic options.
Dhruti Mehta, MD

Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, CUMC
Dhruti Mehta, MD, is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at CUMC. She obtained her undergraduate degree from George Washington University and received her medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Mehta received the Gold Humanism Honors Society Resident
Teaching Award while completing her residency at New York Medical College. She is interested in all aspects of women’s health and counseling women on the challenges they face in each phase of life.
Reut Moyal, MD

Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, CUMC
Reut Moyal, MD, is Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at CUMC. Dr. Moyal received her medical degree from Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University in Israel and completed her OB/GYN residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York, where she received several awards for academic excellence and patient satisfaction. Dr. Moyal’s practice focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology and she is deeply committed to providing outstanding and personalized care to her patients.
