Dudley P. Pritchard, Sr., Former Yorktown Firefighter, Dies at 80

The man was a member of the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department and retired from the Westchester County Public Works Department.

Dudley P. Pritchard, Sr. passed away in Port Richey, FL on Jan. 10. He was 80. 

He was born March 17, 1932 in Tuckahoe and is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Dorothy; his two daughters, Dorothy Masumian (Scott), and Bonnie-Jean Brackett (Thomas); son, Dudley Pritchard Jr.(Debborah); 5 grandchildren; and 1 great-grand-daughter.

He was a former member of the Yorktown Heights Volunteer Fire Department and retired from the Westchester County Public Works Department. He was also a Pasco County Sheriff School Crossing Guard and served in the U.S. Army Reserve.

Pritchard, Sr. was buried on Monday, Jan. 14.
