Avon Lake High School Student Arrested for Possession of Drugs: Police Blotter
Officers received a tip cluing them to the student's possession. Officers also dealt with an Avon Lake woman who was mailed dog poop.

AVON LAKE, OH - Avon Lake police dealt with a variety of incidents over the past two weeks. First, an Avon Lake High School student was arrested for possession of drugs after school administrators and police received a tip that he may be carrying. Then, a woman was mailed dog poop, possibly as part of an ongoing feud with her neighbor.
Possession of Drug Substances, Oct. 28 - An Avon Lake High School student was arrested for possession of drugs. Officers and school administrators received a tip that said the student may be holding narcotics. When police investigated, they found green gummies with possible drugs embedded within and four white pills. The student's parents were notified and the student was cited in juvenile court.
Menacing, Oct. 29 - A pizza delivery guy had his car damaged while making a delivery on Oct. 29. The driver went around block party barricades to make a delivery. When he attempted to exit the block, two men from the party stepped in front of his car and refused to let him leave. The men began threatening him and damaged his car.

Vandalism, Oct. 31 - Blesser Park was vandalized sometime between Oct. 28 and Halloween. A service employee found two electrical outlets were missing, a piece of plastic was broken off of the information kiosk, and soap was missing from the restrooms.
Theft, Oct. 29 - Golf clubs and golf bags were stolen from a man's garage. No forced entry was reported.

Fraud, Oct. 8 - An Avon Lake man reported on Nov. 3 that his credit card had been used twice locally by an unknown thief.
Suspicious Activity, Nov. 3 - An Avon Lake woman called police when she received a suspicious package in the mail. When she opened it, she found a pile of dog feces in the box. Officers say the dog poo could be a revenge scheme in a neighborly dispute.
Driving Under Suspension, Nov. 4 - Officers saw a pickup truck driving along Walker Road. The truck was emitting a strange noise and its muffler was dragging along the ground. When police stopped the truck and spoke to the driver, they found his license was under suspension with the FRA. The man said he was trying to get to work. His truck was towed.
OVI, Nov. 8 - At 2 a.m., officers saw a car driving extremely slowly and with its high beams on. Officers stopped the car, noted a flat passenger side tire, and arrested the driver for OVI.
